OUR STORY

If you're familiar with the story of David and Goliath, then you know it's a story of the underdog, David, who defeats the giant, Goliath, with a simple sling and a stone.  It was a great illustration of being bigger than your fears, taking chances, making use of what you currently have and not being intimidated by a bigger entity.

What better metaphor is there for being a small business trying to compete in this giant world? After years of trying to come up with the perfect name to describe our journey, our son Jake came up with this and it couldn't be more perfect.

 

Since 2012 we have been successfully running our 'sister' company Twisted Tomboy® which is a bath+body line designed strictly for women.

​

But what about the men? After numerous tradeshows and customer feedback, it was evident there was a big need for high quality men's products . . . enter Sling & Stone (formally Made Man Shower & Shave).

​

From shaving to beards to skin care, hopefully we will have the men covered now too!
